  1. Turn off the phone Take a toothbrush and 70% isopropyl alcohol.

This is what I did, take a needle/or pin and clean the port, there may be lint, take some tissue and flatten it to a point, and stuff it around in the port to keep it dry, then take a hair blower, put it on the “cool” setting, not heat and leave it blowing good air into the port, the phone should be off this whole time. This could take anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour or maybe a little longer depending on what is registered as moisture or dampness.

1. Check that there is no humidity in the port.

2. Clear the USB cache by going to “Settings” then “Apps”.

3. Tap on “Filter”, then select “Filter & Sort” and enable “Show system apps”.

4. Scroll down to “USB settings” and clean the cache.

5. You can also try force-stopping the app, but make sure to restart the phone a few times.

Wirelessly charge your phone to 100%. Let the battery drain completely to 0%. Once drained, turn off the phone and connect it to a charger. When the battery reaches 5-10%, you can turn your phone back on.
